It pisses me off that if I go for a grey interpretation, someone will scream that I'm woobifying or being creepy. I guess I just find it narratively more interesting ~personally~ to look at Loki as fucked up and crazy, not just flat evil.

Dissociative is a good concept for headcanon re Loki/Chitauri. I will take it and run with it.

A lot of the time woobie is in the eye of the beholder. Either way, I really can't be bothered to care if someone is all SJRNFUFHFH over me going for a psychological explanation instead of hard right out "he's evil, the end", because That just feels like glossing over it anyway. "Evil" describes actions, maybe, but I want to have an idea of WHY those actions were chosen. What's going on in there?
