7. Most unexpectedly wonderful secret EVER. This never occurred to me, but it is composed of two elements: HOT and YES. THANK YOU FOR BRIGHTENING MY DAY.

I have wanted to play this game again for YEARS, but I run OS X now and it just doesn't work anymore. SO SAD.

Huzzah! Someone agrees!

Personally I can still play the game, but the one downside I've found to still being able to play Alpha Centauri is that I simply cannot enjoy the new Civilisation games. Simply because no Civ game can ever get close to the beauty that was SMAC.
