Notes:

Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.

If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.

The submissions post for next week is below as usual.

Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.

Re: Japan and countries that drive on the left

The driving on the right thing I'm acclimatised to. What always gets me that cars here (austalia) are right hand drive, whereas cars in the US (and I assume any righthand driving nations) the cars are lefthand drive. There's almost always a moment of wtf when someone on TV gets in a car (especially on their own) and gets into the passenger seat.

I have the same problem, but the other way because I live in the US. "Where are you-oh, wait, right. Steering wheel on the other side" *facepalm*

If I'm reading something set in a left-side driving place, like, say, fic for a British show, and there's a scene inside a car, I sometimes suddenly realize that I've been imagining it all wrong because the driver and passenger should be switched.
