Notes:

Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.

If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.

The submissions post for next week is below as usual.

Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.

Teatime! One of my favourite villians, both in the books and the film, because he is so skin-crawlingly terrifying. *shudders*

Not sure I see the connection with Loki, though. Loki seemed more like a kid throwing a tantrum who got in way over his head and felt he was too far gone to stop.

Like I said, the analogy isn't perfect. The quote is the nutshell version -- the mad kid nobody (in-universe) likes (but who the audience isn't supposed to agree with) with no real grasp of the consequences of his actions. (I came up with it after thinking that many people seem to be thinking Loki=weird kid no one liked=nerdy social reject=themselves, but especially by Avengers that is clearly not what the creators are meaning them to think, so what other kind of weird kid no one liked is there...) Loki's like a kid throwing a tantrum; Teatime described himself as an unleashed inner child. They also share a total disregard for others' mental autonomy -- and, y'know, others' lives, but that last bit is shared with so many other villains I'm not sure it should count.

So, yeah. Not perfect. Just... stuck in my head.
