Notes:

Important: I'm really sorry about this, but I accidentally misclicked and deleted the submission post from last week instead of saving it. Managed to save the first page (25) of secrets, but the rest (about 100 or so) are gone.

If you submitted something last week (Aug 26-Sept 1), please resubmit it here.

The submissions post for next week is below as usual.

Secrets Left to Post: ?? pages, ??? secrets from Secret Submission Post #296.

Re: Are you working ~in your field~?

Yep! I went to college for civil engineering, and now I'm an EIT (engineer in training) for the state transportation department. It's great! :D

(But then, engineering degrees exist to get those jobs and those jobs exist just for engineering degrees. There aren't many disciplines of engineering that don't have specific jobs associated with them.)

Same here, sort of! I majored in civil engineering undergrad, worked my way through grad school as a structural engineer, and am now working my way towards my PE in structural engineering.

I think the fact that civil engineering as a major is so broad but then everyone specializes once they get out. I'm doing structural, I have friends in transportation, and more friends in environmental.

I absolutely love my job too!
