everything is a rehash of everything. there's really no such thing as originality. but it's okay because sometimes things get rehashed in a refreshing way.

it's ok to take a break op. when you least expect it, you'll find something that piques your interest again. :)

Pretty much, yea. Maybe OP will return to fandom later, or maybe fandom isn't something that's going to always interest them. Either way, there's no use of them forcing themselves to read or watch things they aren't in the mood for, because they'll almost certainly come out hating them, and that defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place. Just give yourself a break OP, and see where it goes from there.
