Some people really do just go through life not really questioning or thinking about the Big Picture. It's not that odd of a thing. Especially depending on OPs age.

And as another anon said, sometimes it just takes really odd mundane things to click in your brain and set you off.

In summary, not everyone thinks like you do or experiences life as you do.

Sooooo many people in the West, I find, are default agnostic or "sort-of-Christian" and pretty much avoid thinking about the big scary stuff until they get confronted by it. In the West it's pretty easy to avoid memento mori. I went to Nepal and *bang* there's a dead dude right in front of me in public being laid on a pyre. That shit makes you think.

Oh shut the fuck up. My brother has ocd and anxiety disorders and at one point he got extremely distressed about the idea of ceasing to exist after he heard a certain song. Maybe OP HAD thought about it but was able to come to terms with it because no external voice was insisting OP was completely wrong.

I suspect most people don't have time or reason to think too hard about it while living their lives; existential philosophy isn't very practical when you're usually just trying to pay the bills. These questions don't come up until people face a crisis and they have no choice but to wonder.

I'm betting the OP is or knows the subject person in the secret and is just looking for hits to boost ratings. I went there and watched some of the vids including the one in question and I must say... It's total crap. There is nothing insightful about Zac's logic, it's just biased opinion.

I took it as OP having considered those situations in the past, and coming to a perhaps flimsy conclusion. Watching the video shattered OP's comforting notion, and started the spiral of panic and depression once more.
