Re: Original BSG vs. 2004 remake?

I have seen original BSG, but it's not something I love. I remember seeing it as a kid and thinking that it's not as good as Star Trek or Star Wars. However, the reimagined Battlestar Galactica has very unique characters and a take on the mythos. I love the music, and the cinematography. I also love the genderflip they did (Starbuck mostly, because as much as I love Boomer, we got Athena from it). I think the storylines are really interesting altough they do sometimes fall short...Yeah. I think it's worth watching. There are parts I don't like (Athena, Baltar, head!Cylon, some of the religious stuff...but not all of it). I think the world building was amazing...yeah I'm a big fan, sorry. xD
