So you're saying that women above a certain cup size can't be cast for certain roles or be expected to be taken seriously.

They should expect to be taken seriously by people not operating in the mindset of your stereotypical seventh-grade boy.

If it makes a difference, I'm using 'expect' in the sense of 'think ___ will happen' rather than 'think ____ should happen'.

I feel like the showrunners were the constantly overly sexing the women on Trek. Brannon Braga has a terrible reputation with Seven of Nine and Kate Mulgrew has a story aboutmuch she hated the wonderbra they tried to make her wear.

I feel like I'm digging a hole here but I'll try again.

They made her overly sexy. When she was talking about her parents being killed by the borg I didn't feel that having in a fanboy costume was appropriate. I guess what I mean to say is that I found the emphasis on her breasts distracting. They put her in a corset and did a lot of shots to bring attention to her chest. I wish she had been in a uniform like everyone else.

IRL Jeri Ryan dresses great. She has done great serious work. I think she was perfect for the part as an actress. It's the costume department who screwed up.

I know some people said that Andrew Garfield has a large butt and they found it distracting in a serious scene in Spiderman (though I haven't seen the film myself). It's not just a breast thing. I would have found it inappropiate if in TOS Kirk has talking about the massacre on Talos V with his shirt off and all oiled up.

Urgh, I have a large bust myself as well.
