Before I started watching Teen Wolf, I assumed based on the tumblr posts I saw from my friends that he was the main character of the show, lol.

A large majority of the fandom feels the same way, anon, but to me, it's the whole cast that makes the show, I like them all. Plus I just can't stop adoring Scott's "clueless as a newborn puppy" demeanor.

Same here. I remember being worried that one of the main characters would die in S2 because the just wouldn't be the same or as good. (Scott and Stiles being obviously out of the question, what with one being the protagonist, and the other being a sure to way to lose the fanbase).

I know a lot of the Sterek shippers say that "The Stiles and Derek Show!" would be the best spinoff ever, but I need every other character there being every other characters' foils and friends 8(

I think as proven in the S2 finale when they shoe-horn Stiles into an episode in an awkward way, it doesn't work as well as when they give the whole cast time to shine.
