I like Scott just fine, but definitely prefer Stiles. He's one of my favorite characters, if not most favorite. But, tbh, the stanning for him, how others (especially Scott) are demonized to woobify him, how there are countless fics where at least three people are in love/lust with him at once because he's just ~so perfect (YMMV, because to me, he's cute enough, but I like him based on personality more than his looks), put me the fuck off.

I've found it best to avoid the most rabid fans of any character in any fandom, since the constant he's-the-best-thing-since-sliced-bread tends to make me fed up with a character I've previously liked. Especially since some fics make me wonder if I'm even watching the same show as the writers, considering how they write Stiles.
