Sitting back and accepting that hollywood is going to keep acting like only the stories of white people are worth telling will just keep things the way they are though. It's also pretty unfair to expect OP to just stay on the sidelines reading internet fiction or the odd published history while the main stage is occupied by only one kind of people.
