Er, the movies are cast that way because Hollywood cares more about making money than anything else, and they think those actors (esp. the main three) will bring in the big bucks because they believe that's what people want to see. It's as simple as that. And that's very disappointing, but I wouldn't bother overanalyzing it. It's a valid discussion, but amongst fans and in a hypothetical sense only; the movies were always a lost cause.
