I'm really sorry this happened to you. I really hope your money reappears as quickly and magically as it disappeared. Maybe get a new bank? I had my card stolen and my bank had it canceled and refunded the lost money within days. Granted, it was a small amount and no doubt they would have given me a harder time for a loss as large as yours. But it just doesn't sound right. If you went through every transaction and they couldn't find where the money could possibly have gone, and they had no grounds on which to accuse you of taking it yourself, and especially if there were no withdrawals on record, which says to me it could be a problem with their system, how could they just send you on your way?

All banks are skeevy, but if your money just goes poof without a trace while in their keeping, saying "too bad, see ya around" is a special kind of skeevy.
