Stupid question but what does BNF mean? I'd not come across the term til I joined this comm.

BNF stands for "big name fan". Basically the people who others flock to or scorn in mass... usually a combination of both. :3

So one particular person within a fandom, who is well known to others in the fandom. Right.
Thanks! That makes a lot of secrets make more sense. For some reason it made me think of the BNP (British Nationalist Party), and meaning a lot of fascist fans or something, maybe anal over Canon or whatever.
