4. Pft, you just don't want to adapt to the new ideas associated with these words. "Manga" is seen more as a specific art style now instead of being interpreted by it's literal English translation. Just as "comic books" are synonymous with Marvel and DC, who publish the more realistic, Western style of sequential art (that more often than not involve muscular people with super powers).

I get the feeling you only think this way because literal authenticity is important to you. So, do you only think Mexican food tastes best when made by real Mexicans? Cause yeah, they can probably make you some delish Mexican food, but their dishes won't be any less authentic if they cook Italian or French or Chinese or Filipino or whatever the fuck cuisine you're in the mood for.
