Sounds like a pretty typical Loki fangirl.

Is that actually supposed to be an observation or are you just talking out your ass?

At least try. Come on. Does being so transparent do anything for you?

In my day job I am a professional window, so to answer your question: yes.

And the comeback kid sweeps the leg of our boy fingal!

Comeback Kid is the best around. Nothing's ever gonna keep him down. He's like a bad case of food poisoning. You may think you are keeping him down, but then he sneaks up from behind.

:D

I like you.

I hope you're shatterproof, otherwise someone's likely to leave you in pieces.

Well I hope you're rip proof, otherwise a tailor might leave you in stitches.

THAT WAS A DIFFERENT ANON

THE ORIGINAL LOKI FANGIRL-SNARKING ANON WOULD NEVER MAKE SUCH A DORKY NON-SEQUITUR OF A PUN

I HAVE IT ON GOOD AUTHORITY

(Anonymous) 2012-09-13 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
You also have it on caps lock.

Damn, you're good.

I love this thread.

OP here.

Yeah okay Loki is the current iteration of it (I wouldn't exactly call myself a fangirl though. I don't write fic or surf gifs or tumblr or squee endlessly, I really just want him to bend me over) but it's been going on basically since puberty. Honestly, Brock from Pokemon was the first ever. More arousing than first boyfriend? Yep.

^Sounds like a typical douchebag.

*pats* It's probably the horns. :p

Don't beat yourself up, seriously. Actual people are complicated and sometimes smelly and demanding: fictional characters come in convenient, bite-size disposable chunks. ~ Maybe at this point in your life, fictional characters fill a need that a RL person couldn't.

And who knows - things may change for you in the future. You might meet a RL person that you find actually pushes your buttons (how and when you want them pressed) but until then, have fun with your fantasies.

It's not really that surprising, to be honest. It's easier to fantasize about a fictional person than a real one who is right there. A person in the flesh, you can see all their flaws, all those awkward moments, etc. A fictional person? You can build it up into this amazing fantasy in your head where it's all perfect, and nothing is messed up, etc.

Damn, this makes so much sense now! I've never heard it expressed so succinctly before. Thanks!

Real people smell funny and do annoying things and aren't always there when you need them (or are around at times when you don't necessarily want them to be.) Fictional characters (especially when you're fantasizing) do exactly what you want them to do, are there at a moment's notice and go away when you want to be left alone.

In other words, it's okay. You're normal.

I don't think you'er alone on this OP. Fictional characters are easier to slot into a fantasy or to bend into what you want them to be, therefore much more arousing because all that stuff you might not like as much that would be mixed into the regular package with a real person isn't there or isn't visible or is far easier to ignore.

Ever heard about Nijikon? You probably need a more encompasing term but it more or less describes your case.
