I don't think you'er alone on this OP. Fictional characters are easier to slot into a fantasy or to bend into what you want them to be, therefore much more arousing because all that stuff you might not like as much that would be mixed into the regular package with a real person isn't there or isn't visible or is far easier to ignore.
