Not going to touch the autism thing.

If I were you I would document all of her attempts to harass you and her friends' attempts as well. Then I would send it to the admin to see if they could IP ban all of them.

That said, IP bans don't work for the truly dedicated.

I don't know if you should stay or not. Only you can decide if you want to deal with her vitriol. Whatever you decide, don't do it for any other reason than for yourself. If you want to stay because she doesn't bother you more than the enjoyment you get out of the place, stay. If she proves to be too much for her and you want to leave, then leave. Don't make a decision for reasons like other than what is directly related to you and your wellbeing.

Another option, if you want to consider it, is to make a new account and identity. Make sure it has absolutely no connection to your old account though. If it does and she's dedicated she will notice and start harassing you again.

I wish you peace with whatever you decide. Good luck.

I agree. Sockpuppet if you like the comm in general.

(Did you point out the flaws in a PM or publicly? Because some people really flip over public critique (even if - or especially if - it's a valid call. Embarrassment turns to resentment turns to harassment. ~ I still think any one serious about improving as a storyteller/artist ought to be open to crit, but if they're new or have ego issues they can be touchy.)

That can be hard if the OP has a fic series going on or a distinctive art style.

True, but a reasonable artist/author ought to be able to shrug and discard privately-received info as "irrelevant" if they don't want to re-write/re-draw/rethink a work. ~ It's quite another thing to get vendetta on against someone who was offered well-intentioned feedback.

nayrt
I once gave concrit via pm because I wanted to avoid what you so perfectly described.
With the result that all her bffs came to "her rescue", sending me hatemail, because I was so evil to single her out and "bully" her in private mails.
Well, yeah.

Ugh, that's horrible.

I guess you're right. Damned no matter what, while the clueless narcissists who think their writing is falling fully-formed and perfect from the deity's arse ... just go on on in their Reality Distortion Field.

(*gnash* I tell ya, some people's kids ....)
