Oh man, hammy villains are my favorite thing EVER. Like, seriously, I could've happily watched Loki swaggering around acting like a vicious fabulously-dressed bratty little shit in Stuttgart for, like, an hour straight. Plus, hammy villains' temper tantrums are just so cathartic and id-driven, it's just enjoyable to watch them be totally lacking in morals.
