Real good con-crit is hard to find....

It really is!

Most of the time people use con-crit to be an asshole to an author. It's barely helpful, and very often wrong.

Couple that with the arrogance of youth, and reality TV making things like manners, respect, and conversation a thing of the past and well...

...we get the state of fanfic crit today.

Good lord, this. Anyone can be a critic these days. Even if you have no qualifications what so ever and your critique is pointing out "this character sucks!"
