Paul Ryan is the anti-Christ, though.

I actually don't think they look that much alike? Just personally. They have similar smiles and some of their features are certainty similar too, but on a whole I can easily tell the difference. That said, everyone's different and some people have more trouble recognizing faces than others.

NGL, I feel bad for Mr. Shue in this case; no one should be compared to Paul Ryan, lmao.

I feel really sorry for Matthew Morrison, then. No offense to anyone, but something about Paul Ryan just rubs me the wrong way.

Paul Ryan strikes me as being, on a personal level, a sincere, intelligent person who is honestly trying to make the world a better place. It's just that he sincerely believes some deeply incorrect, fucked-up things that would be absolutely terrible and harmful for this country and its people. I haven't seen anything to suggest that he's particularly an asshole in his every-day life.

I think in some ways that's a lot more frightening. (I'm also fairly uncomfortable with making judgments and attacks about the personal character of people with whom we disagree; it seems, I don't know, dangerous.)

He may or may not be an asshole in his personal life, but he really does seem to have a problem with truthfulness about both political and personal issues in his public statements. Even compared to other politicians. So I do question his sincerity a bit.

While I can certainly see the physical resemblance in appearance, I can't see the link for the middle eastern values in ideology. They are at the opposite ends of the spectrum for that.
