OP
(Anonymous) 2012-09-13 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)First, I'm not a troll. And second, yes I am fairly new to fandom. The reason it feels weird for me to be comfortable in very unfeminine clothes is because I was never really told that it was okay to be unfeminine. Also, I did the whole attending-girls-only-Christian-school thing since I was five and am now eighteen. They kind of told me that premarital sex is evil and that girls should always wear dresses but that feminism is totally cool as long as you're only straight. The end result was one incredibly confused student. I am allowed to hang out with boys, but it is always expected that one day I marry a man and settle down with kids and be a stay at home mum.
And that's that. That's why it's a secret. Sorry if I confused anybody.
So no, not a troll. I just have not been told it's okay to act masculine.
Re: OP
CT: D --> Obviously your new role model would take e%ception to such inane f001ishness
CT: D --> As you attempting to break away from that which is your assigned place
CT: D --> But you may as well continue on this path you have already begun to trot, as you likely canter do anything else
CT: D --> Such
CT: D --> DECADENCE
CT: D --> Oh my god why are the towels always gone

Re: OP
Re: OP
You may like to be femme sometimes and glam it up when you can be bothered/excited, but it is TOTALLY OKAY if you feel better dressing androgynous or butch all the time. Biology isn't destiny. Haters to the left.
Re: OP
fandom newbies are sometimes my favourite kind of newbies. you're like babies in need of corruption and also maybe some analytical thinking if you're not already doing that.
Re: OP
Be who you are.
Fuck anyone who tries to tell you not to.
The end.
