LOL! OH, God, I'm sorry, I was quoting Holmes... I should have put it in quotes.

I was asking about Perception to see how much you have to catch up on, and to keep the thread at least nominally on topic... (-:

Hey, hey, hey you know anything negative I ever said about Perception? I take it back. I take all of it back. I decided to skip to the last episode that aired to gauge the waters about what you were talking about.

FUCK, MAN.

I have. . .far too many feelings, most of which hit about too close to home for comfort, but yes this is good and I want to know what happens next and also I am sad now for Daniel and I just want to give him a hug and the show is treating mental illness for the most part CORRECTLY and the guy who plays Daniel is a good actor and his careless actions are being treated as such and he is going in for help and he is still treated like a person and it is sad and oh my feelings LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THEM.

Uh oh, I think I'm in love.

But I wish his relationship with that girl was more platonic, they have good co worker and friend chemistry but I don't like them as a couple. But that is a small quibble when an episode like that just happened. Perception, you just won some SJ points, kudos.

What interests me about his relationship with the girl is how it changed in this episode. I've seen them all so far, and never saw anything beyond some really nice friend-chemistry between them. Then in this episode - when she comes over to show him the tape - I started to see how they could work as a couple.

That scene was later revealed to be the first one that was actually a hallucination. So if that was a deliberate choice on the part of the director/actors, it might hint that the idea of them being together is largely in his head, which would delay the romance a bit.

(Probably not stop it altogether, though. When a pairing's being sold this obviously, it usually ends up becoming canon.)
