How i feel about it. If you read my fic and it confused you, then you need to either comment or pm me and say so, so that i can either a) point out the bit you seem to have missed or b) chat about it and realize oops, i didn't share the info my character has, yes, it's confusing!! I want my work to be enjoyable and to make sense. I want the story to *work*.

If you read my fic and notice i screwed up the spelling or grammar somewhere, or dropped a word out or something, tell me in comments so i can fix it. (Or, so we can discuss how that's a colloquialism and is totally okay there.)

If you read my fic and think i totally dropped the ball, screwed up, wrote every character OOC and my sex was awful and whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy didn't i make it x/y instead of x/z?!!!!! Then PM me, because i think you're projecting.

If you read my fic and hated the plot/'ship/fact that it was m/m/that it had warned-for icky stuff...then stfu, you shouldn't be reading my fic.

Tl;dr - i have no issues with concrit so long as it's polite and so long as it's critiquing my actual words, not the fact that i choose to write m/m or AU or whatever.

(Or, so we can discuss how that's a colloquialism and is totally okay there.)

This reminds me of the time someone left me a comment "correcting" my grammar because I used "lay" for "lie" in tight third-person narration. And then they deleted their comment, so that I couldn't point out that it was a character voice thing and not an error. I felt so thwarted.
