Sure, a fic's fair game for concrit. And concrit is fair game for rejection and being picked apart in turn. People can give poorly-worded and/or flat-out subjective criticism that they only believe is polite and objective. Not all concrit is created equal, and I don't think posting things online are automatic invitations for advice. There's a thin line between help and condescension, and the latter isn't invited to anybody's tea party.

I fucking love concrit, but that's because writing is a personal passion that I want to improve, not just something I do for shits and giggles. This does not apply to everyone. And when concrit is more about you saying what you want than helping out someone who wants it, it's no longer concrit. It's just...wanking.
