Yeah, I wouldn't deny that Cloud exhibits some queeritude, but his complex feelings for both Aerith and Tifa are kind of hard to pass over at the same time. I don't care if someone prefers him with Zack or Sephiroth or what have you (and I like those pairings too even if Barret/Cloud needs moar love) but I personally don't find the het weird in the least.

I don't think you quite get the concept of musicals, honey. Yes, the original cast was a whole bunch'a old people, but that's because of where it was produced. And because those people can sing and act better than most/any seven or eight year olds you will ever find.

And there have been teen productions of this show. It all has to do with who's putting it on and what age group they are looking for actors in.
