Oh wow that's an interesting hint. Took me a minute, though I think I have an idea who you are. I guess I'm cheating, since plot picked up, but mostly just with the people my character is involved with. But I really did mean it when I said I was enjoying the place far too much; I've met some of the most incredible players ever. SO THANK YOU ANYWAY. ♥

That said, he was/is probably immensely embarrassed as well, once he figured out that YOU figured out what he was doing.

I don't think this needs to be quite as traumatic as you're making it out to be, and for the record, 14-year-old boys are about the horniest things on the planet (I speak from experience), but the worst part is they have absolutely no idea how to deal with it. Sorry you had to get experience that firsthand (ha ha firsthand) but don't take it too personally.

Oh. And while on the surface this is a cute fun idea: do you have ANY idea what the ramifications of this would be? Suddenly, thousands of innocent girls would be killed because they're not married and yet have lost their ears. We'd be back to the archaic idea that if you don't bleed on your wedding night that you're a shameless whore. Except with a much more visible way of telling.

I'm sorry, but as neat as the idea sounds at first? Honor killings and the like would skyrocket. They would probably, for the first time, extend to males as well.

22 I've had an easier time in mainly female RPs than mainly male ones. For years, I played only in mainly male ones... and I won't go back, to be honest. I thought I didn't mind the emphasis on fighting, but I realized that in mainly female games, people are less concerned about their characters winning the fights, and more concerned about what the fights do for the plot. In female games, I'm allowed to play male characters without constantly being expected to play female characters, as the token female player in the game.

I do miss the easy comeraderie that the all-male games had, and I miss the lack of sniping and backbiting that eventually whittle away players. But I don't miss the spectacular blow-ups that the male games had, where the entire group would split in two and sink.

It's a stereotype on both sides, and both types of games have their good and bad points, but they do have a very different atmosphere when they're wildly swinging to one gender or the other in terms of players.
