Late to the party 'cause I fell asleep last night, but I'm not going to judge anyone for pronouncing something wrong if they haven't heard the 'proper' pronunciation, and sometimes not even then.

Why? Because even the pronunciation of ENGLISH words varies depending on locale (as my BFF and I will constantly 'argue' about), which causes some people to pronounce certain letters/letter combinations certain ways out of habit, even after learning the correct way.

My BFF will tell me the correct pronunciation of something because she's better at... picking up the sound I guess is the right way to word it. I'll literally HEAR it differently than she does, so while I try and correct myself to how it's supposed to be, I don't always stop and think before saying something, which means it'll come out with my habitual pronunciation instead of what's proper.
