Oh anon, I'm so sorry. Are you somewhere you can listen to a YouTube vid? Here's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=st4opohRZ_A) a recording of comedian Tig Notaro talking about all the times she accidentally ran into 80s pop star Taylor Dayne. In my experience, it's a great anecdote to get lost in when you just want to escape your own brain.

I just got a tumblr account and I am looking for blogs that are relevant to my fandoms. Does anyone know of any good ones for Transformers or Star Trek (preferably TOS and/or TNG, but DS9 is cool too)?

I think she's a terrible actress but otherwise seems likeable enough, if bland. If I were in her position I'd totally go into modeling or the like while I still had the chance, and go to school later. You can always go back to school, and it's not like she's going to miss out on the typical "halcyon days" type memories of college most of us have (living in a dorm, football games, joining protest groups on campus) because she'll always be Emma Watson and there's no way she could have those experiences "normally" anyway.

Gosh, am I the only person in the fandom who likes (what I'm interpreting as) his gelled, feathered look? I think it's hot and he's hotter. Then again, my teens were spent in the 70's so I'm too old to be here anyway and have no fashion sense besides.

That was such a fun episode ♥
I really liked the idea of an actual Doctor Companion Gang of people, aliens, robots, or whoever from various time periods. Episodes like that and the "towing the TARDIS" scene from Journey's End just kinda make sad because the Doctor could use more friends :( even if a lot of them have pretty much no happy endings

The sets are already a tour (unless you mean changing it even more?) I went on the studio tour and it was amazing. To be honest, while the US has a theme park, the UK has a studio tour that kind of really beats most of the stuff the US has.

Warner Brothers owns the movie rights and can do whatever the hell they want with it, which includes making theme parks. With the expansion of a Wizarding World coming to LA I would not be shocked if they bring one to Europe in the next few years, but I'm not sure how much physical presence they have over there.

As for LeakyCon? Well that's the UK fandom's own damn fault. I'm flabbergasted you guys don't have your own Harry Potter cons.

Not accepting the creator's word as canon actually takes away a lot of good gay/lesbian characters too (there have been numerous examples of children's show characters who were outed as gay by creators since they couldn't actually be portrayed as gay within the show even if the creators wanted too)
