Bonus weirdness? Apparently my mother still thinks I have never been kissed and that I'm somehow going to land a husband without dating or kissing him before our wedding vows. She actually said, "You will appreciate this someday when you are able to give your first kiss to your husband at your wedding".

That's... wow. I have no words.

I thought she was joking at first.

She's very quick to shut down any mentions of me having romantic/sexual thoughts (and she always pretends I'm joking whenever I mention interest in another girl or I say something that doesn't fit her heteronormative ideals) but I didn't think she went as far as to sincerely believe I'm pure as the driven snow.
