I'm so fucking tired of het shippers thinking slashers despise het and of slashers going "lolol oppressed het fan." It's not even fun wank anymore, it's just boring, and it's not true either way. Both sides should just shut up arghh

Agreed. And I'm just so fucking tired of Natasha bashing in general that I'm fed up.

Actually, I was pretty pleased that the only place I've ever found Nastasha-bashing was here on F!S -- on that one secret about a week or so ago, and now upthread. Didn't see Natasha-bashing of any note in any other area of fandom, although the "being called cool and scary is totally a legitimate replacement for a personality and dialogue and interaction" treatment in fics bugs me. Can you tell me where you saw Natasha-bashing so I can avoid it?
