I happen to be a SAHM (by choice and happily so). I despise baby!fic, kid!fic (I can do preg!fic so long as the story ends before the baby is born, but even then, it's kinda iffy for me).

So you *could* make the argument to your friends (if they're pushing it) that it probably wouldn't change your mind even if you did so all that they thought you should (assuming they're pushing it on you). Otherwise, I'd just ignore them :P
