Ewwww het, huh? Let's take a look at that in Avengers fandom. Het pairings that have a following (albeit a small one in some cases) that I've come across:

Clint/Natasha
Tony/Pepper
Steve/Peggy
Thor/Jane
Darcy/anyone with a penis
Maria/Coulson
Natasha/Loki (YES OP! THERE'S STUFF OUT THERE! You obviously aren't looking that hard)
Natasha/Steve
Natasha/Bucky (speculative in movie-verse so far, but still)
Coulson/Pepper (okay, there's not a lot but it's there.)

Also, WAAAAAAAAAAAH YOU SLASH PEOPLE ARE RUINING MY PAIRING! is pathetic. You have a rarer pairing you ship. You aren't the only one. My OTP is a SHIT TON rarer than Loki/Natasha and I still find art, fic, conversation. People multiship like wild in this fandom, in case you haven't noticed.

How about you stop whining about how hard your fandom life must be and contribute (assuming you aren't already) to your pairing? That is the best way to turn some more people onto it. Believe me. I know.

....I kinda ship them too. A little. God, that dying scene. I could write a whole soppy paragraph about it. And the fact that he kept calling Fury "boss" didn't help.

It's not a popular pairing for a whole bunch of reasons that tick me off, if I'm honest. lol But yeah, that scene... if I hadn't been crying my eyes out already, that would have done it.
