That's cool, man. You're not alone; I can't really enjoy them, either.

What really gets me, though, is when people don't pay close enough attention to the lyrics and adopt such songs to honor their own relationships. For example, the use of Uncle Cracker's "Follow Me" at weddings (yes, it happens. And it's like, "what the everloving fuck?").
