I had braces for years - worst dentist visit was when I was finally done and they had to yank every little square off of my teeth and sand away the glue. It was unpleasant.

That said, I'd rather a dentist appointment over an appointment with the eye doctor any day of the week. I'm a big baby when it comes to eyes.

How bad is your tooth?

It's discolored and half decayed from I guess the poor brushing it received when I had braces. It's the tooth right after my front teeth so I no longer smile because it's so hideous and right in front all you can see is that.
My dentist has said the only thing to fix it would be to get a crown.
