While I think you're possibly a troll, I think Shapard/wrex is an interesting combo.

As a huge Wrex (and Thane, and Garrus, etc etc) fan, I call bullshit. There are lots of badass aliens in the Mass Effect universe, and your wording all but screams 'WANK, PLEASE!', but whatever.

If you aren't a troll and are just super fond of Krogans (which is understandable; Krogans ARE awesome), that's okay...but the way you phrased your secret was not the best.

That said, I once read a fanfic where Wrex had sent Shepard that breeding request; it was amazing.

Honestly, I don't know; it's kind of an obvious premise if you're going to write the pairing. But, on the other hand, Shep/Wrex seems pretty rare, or at least it was back when I was in the fandom. There were maybe two or three stories including mine on ff.net that I recall.

Yea, I thought that too, but what you said about Shepard/Wrex being rare is true too, so who knows. It very much could have been though, because I'm almost certain the fic was on ff.net. Might have to find it later and read it again. :)

I never really thought about Shep/Wrex until your fic, and it kinda convinced me that Shep/Wrex could be a thing.

Huh, people are calling troll? I've been out of the fandom too long; it didn't even occur to me that this would upset someone. Yeah, I ship Shep/Wrex, although that might just be because it's non-canon so we don't have to base the relationship on how Bioware wrote it (I don't necessarily dislike the way Bioware wrote all of their romances, mind.)

I am opposed to this on the grounds that humanity is not in a position to mate with other species. It could be acceptable again in time, but currently, fertile human women and virile human men who are of a heterosexual orientation and who wish to procreate should be doing so other with one another.

On principle, I don't see there being a problem with men and women who both do not wish to procreate and who are of a homosexual orientation forming partnerships with members of different species. However, as allowing such relationships could seem discriminatory, it's probably best if all humans are discouraged therein.

That is illogical. Who a fertile human chooses as a monogamous partner has no impact on how their genetic material is utilized for the good of the species. Humans who prefer not to create, incubate, or nurture human offspring themselves need only provide the required reproductive cells to specialized facilities which may do so in their stead. Human males have been doing this successfully since the early twentieth century, and current technology as of 2186 CE allows for human females to do the same.
