3 things that I think about this secret:

1) I'm completely okay with this.

2) I'm completely okay with this because Thomas Gibson was basically born to play Batman and it's a massive tragedy that he never has.

3) Criminal Minds is already, to me, essentially a comic book superhero show. It's about a team of people with unrealistic, superhuman abilities who travel around America to fight insane people who are beyond the normal run of human beings. The distance between Criminal Minds and a comic book is basically just 7 sets of tights. So there's a certain amount of sense-making in seeing Reid as a comic book villain especially since he's always been the one who's most likely to empathize with the villains.

Those are the things that I think about this secret.

Three things I think about this whole thing:

1) OP is most certainly on to something and I love them for it.

2) Anon above has absolutely NAILED it with their point three, because YES. I don't think it could ever be put more eloquently than that.
