(Anonymous) 2012-09-18 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)and no, because "Dark Knight Rises" is much less close to "Dark Is Rising" than "Darkness Rising", and also because it's clearly a reference to the established nickname of Batman, and also because it's a movie and not YA fantasy
but really "angry" was an exaggeration for humorous effect and i should have realized that might not come across on the internet
