Seriously? I'd be surprised if there's only two. 'Dark rising' is a pretty generic concept.

(Question: Does the title of The Dark Knight Rises also bother you?)

i'm not really angry

and no, because "Dark Knight Rises" is much less close to "Dark Is Rising" than "Darkness Rising", and also because it's clearly a reference to the established nickname of Batman, and also because it's a movie and not YA fantasy

but really "angry" was an exaggeration for humorous effect and i should have realized that might not come across on the internet

Sorry! It can be hard to tell genuine outrage from mild facetiousness sometimes, and I have been known to err on the side of snarking at people. >__>
