Re: Smoothie/Shake Recipes

[personal profile] unicornherds 2012-09-19 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Basically all of my fruit smoothies are: banana, spinach, greek yogurt, and then add other fruit to taste. Favorites are: strawberries, blueberries, peaches, raspberries. I like the raspberries because it adds a little tartness to an otherwise very sweet drink.

In the mornings I have a few ice cubes, milk of choice (I like chocolate rice milk), peanut butter, and half a banana.

Also good, make a cup of chai (chai tea bag + 1 cup heated milk) and let it sit overnight. In the morning take the chai, around 4 ice cubes, and some whey protein and mix it all up.

Really most of my smoothie recipes are just me shoving things in a blender that I think might taste good, then adding more until it does taste good.
