Agreeing with both you and the second anon--the tumblr confession blogs have probably taken away some traffic, and tumblr in general is the new hip fandom place to be instead of LJ and DW. All of the fandom communities I know of on LJ and DW are much smaller than the used to be. We're the old guard now.

This must be what people in their 30s felt like when the internet helped my generation get into fandom and we started to flood anime conventions and stuff...
