I like Stiles...but find him quite unattractive. Could be that he is rather boyish looking, and I've only seen one picture that I could possibly find him attractive in. Makes it very hard for me to ship him with anyone but the other young cast members.

but i think the boyishness is a huuuuge contributor to his popularity. makes it easier to uke-ify him, i guess.

Euck, that is even worse. But certainly likely given the fact that 90% of the Sterek fandom are probably heterosexual teenage girls, and have a thing for boyish/manly pairings and a fixation on who "bottoms" and who "tops".

You are probably right - especially given the current trend of alpha/omega fic, where the "uke" is all ~special~ has a self-lubricating anus and all that crap.
