#22, I'm agreeing. The fandom didn't used to be any better than it is now. It's just like people looking back at their younger years and saying it was so much better. :P Grass is always greener.

I dunno, genuinely and objectively compare circa 2001-FFVII fandom with 2007 and there's a pretty significant difference.
