I can't imagine anyone out there feeling guilty about his/her ship because someone else thinks the characters are like siblings.

Yeah, I was going to say...there's plenty of people that ship literal incest, so that wouldn't be a deterrent for some people anyway.

But I also agree with the guy above you, I don't think most people that can't ship it because they view the characters as family are necessarily trying to guilt others, either. It's just their own personal reason for why they don't ship it--and that's okay, too.

I don't feel guilty, but as someone who is legitimately really squicked by incest, when people say (non-incest) ships that I have are totli like incest omg so gross, then yes it sometimes does kind of annoy me.

Hi. I have a ridiculous Catholic guilt complex, despite not being Catholic. It's fairly easy to get me to feel guilty about just about anything -- including ships.
