man i only consider characters 'like siblings' when they are actually raised together in one home/under same guardians or something similar, or when a slightly older/wiser/whatever person takes care of and protects someone younger. growing up together and being childhood friends =/= being 'like siblings'. the worst part is that people only usually apply the 'like siblings' shit to a boy/girl relationship. because boys and girls can't be childhood friends without some kind of power dynamic amirite.
