So, you're perfectly fine with someone taking two characters and seeing a romance there, but it bothers you when people see it only as a platonic or family-like relationship? Just because someone says, "Well, I don't see these two characters as being in a relationship, it just feel more like a a brother-sister relationship to me" doesn't mean they're trying to guilt trip you or say you like incest. You're going out of your way to be offended by other people who are doing the exact same thing you are: having an opinion.

PS: I have a wicked case of slash goggles. No, it doesn't bother me in the slightest of people don't think my ship is valid, or even if they think my ships are gross. You just need to lighten up and realize that you can't take everything everyone else says as personal.

IDK, I'm sick of seeing people complain about pretty much all slash couples by using the 'they're like siblings' argument. It's fine when people are stating their own preferences, but when I see it more often than not it's complaining about the ship being a ship anywhere to anyone. Especially when those same people never make that argument about non-canon f/m couples.

And when I see it with outright complaining about ruining things by slashing them, yeah, it's annoying.
