Once a teacher of mine had us all raise our hands. Then he said "lower your hand if you ___" (Have no siblings, are white, etc) At the end he said if you're human and one girl in class didn't lower her hand.. we laughed. It wasn't that she thought she was a pony or anything it just took her a minute to process the human part.

Maybe she just had some deep philosophical thoughts on humanity, and that was why she didn't want to lower her hand? And then she felt pressured to do so when everyone laughed at her. I mean, you never know!

Out of curiousity, what was the point of the exercise? I can't really figure out what the teacher was trying to accomplish...

She was known ditz. Maybe it was a mental issue maybe she was just a ditz. I don't know. She was still like that in High School.

He was kinda hippy dippy he was trying to show that were were all humans no matter what our experiences were.

This was uh.. I think around 12-13?
