What turned you off, Bennett gleefully reading fanfic that Benzaie and Marion illustrated (including a scene of Benzaie making out with Suede) four years ago, Rob insisting that all incest fic featuring him and Doug be 2,000 words minimum two years ago, half the site discovering the Kink Meme and gleefully reading out prompts and posting prompts of their own last year ...
... yeah, I think it fucking rocks. But if it makes you uncomfortable, that's ok.

I really wish the reviewers would start acting a little more professional, though. Like getting separate twitters, one for personal stuff and one for fan interaction.

They really did all this? I knew some members read fic sometimes, but I had no idea Rob had given instructions about incest fic and that the reviewers themselves had posted prompts on the kink meme.

Oh, I'm sorry, it was Bennett who said he wanted 2,000 words minimun. Rob said he wanted the incest fics about him and Doug to be 1,000 words or more.

The prompts thing was mostly a one-time thing, during a livestream where they discovered the kink meme, discussed who had the most fics about them, asked why all the fic of Film Brain was about Film Brain being sad and then various reviewers comforting him, and posted prompts of their own, like "Joe's Mustache vs. Y Ruler of Time's Mustache." And then they had JewWario and the Cinema Snob dramatically read some of the fics, with their sexy sexy voices.

But we know that Nella filled an art prompt of herself and Scarlett for the Kink Meme, Marion drew art for Masterpiece Fanfic Theater of Benzaie and Suede kissing, and then there's that Live Action Fanfic Team NChick as been doing. Lol. Here's what Nella did:

Personally, I find it hilarious and awesome. Not many fandoms can claim "so and so read my fic/read my fic online/commented about my fanart on twitter." Some people get creeped out by how small the distance is between the fandom and the reviewers. (I mean, we know for a fact that Marion, Diamanda Hagan, and Ven are members of the LJ community, to say nothing of people who are there under aliases.) Lupa, Linkara, Nella, and Lindsay have all admitted to writing fanfic when they were younger. Personally I think it's cool and just enjoy the craziness.

I see. This both amuses me and kinda creeps me out a little (it's mostly just the part about Rob saying he wants incest fic to be at least 1,000 words long - unless it was a joke or something?).

I will have to search for this livestream either on TGWTG or youtube then, because now I'm quite curious about their reactions.
