This is all from the one coworker. I find them really dumb because 1) work is not the place for this and 2) every single thing she bitched about can tie into my family (and she didn't know until I said it, but it's still not workplace friendly!)

FYI this is Australia

- "I'm okay with gays but they shouldn't adopt, it will make the children gay" (because she has a lesbian auntie who adopted a child. Child's sexuality unknown?)

- She wasn't against homosexuality, but she really liked to gossip over who was gay and not gay in the workplace? It was awkward, a lot of us are gay.

- "*general commentary on Australia going to shit because Athiest primeminister*"

- "Child protective services take children away from perfectly fine homes and adopt them out to bad families to be abused" - this was a long one, she went on for a few hours about the evils of adoption, fostering and CPS

- Children should only grow up with their real families

- Indigenous people are lazy drunkards so it's good we took the country away from them

- "They don't work as hard as we do!" in reference to our two new Indian coworkers. She also commented a lot on how they smelt "bad" (I think she was referring to their perfume? Which wasn't the bad. It didn't set off my allergies or fill the room)

It was all awkward because I'm gay mcgayson and over half my family is adopted, adopted side are immigrants, my dad works in CPS, the nonadopted half is indigenous-mixed, we're rural and we're an even split religious/areligious

Thankfully I managed to switch to a team so I never have to see her again ;)
