Fortunately, there is a cure for "too much personal life" syndrome

1. Look at your list of people you follow Tumblr/Twitter/ect
2. Ask yourself questions like "Who's personal life do I not want to hear about?" "Who tends to post about drama that I don't like?" "Who do I not enjoy following?"
3. Unfollow those people
4. Continue using the internet in ways that make you happy and minimizes the stress caused by what other people choose to do.

What WILL NOT happen: people yelling at you for unfollowing someone, the person you unfollowed getting upset or siccing their fans on you, the end of the world

What WILL happen: Your feed will have less posts that you don't want to see, people who enjoy following them will continue to do so, the world will continue as if nothing important happened

Side effects may include less time spent complaining about what other people post/tweet, a lessened urge to make fandom secrets on the subject

This cure is not FDA approved however it has been tested by this anon who reports increased enjoyment of Twitter, Tumblr, and fandom in general.

Ahahahaa, thank you, anonymous person!

Seriously, it's like people who pick up the tabloids and then can't watch actors. Don't pick up the magazines, then, silly.
